Spydaman Skye is an atmospheric rock ballad, and The Skye is suppose to be a metaphor for the hecticness and haphazardness of life at times.

I've always loved TV cartoons.  And growing up watching PBS on Saturday mornings they would show the old 'friendly neigbhorhood Spidey' cartoons.

I was always amuzed that for almost all nighttime sequences the sky looked purple and grey.  And they played the big band music in the background for suspence and dramatic effect.

Life can get pretty hectic.  People moving every which way.  Things constantly unconstant.

So when things start to spiral out of control I think of those purple grey skies from cartoon's past.  I think of a...

SPYDAMAN SKYE

"Calling out to you
In a Spydaman Skye
Don't you feel what is happenin'
I don't feel anything real"
Startin' from scratch
Hopeful for a perfect match.
Professional...personal
And everything on the scene.

Scattered in a purple-grey maze
Psycho for the longest days.
Try as I must...try as I might
Seekin' answers...losin' the fight.

Crying out to you
In a Spydaman Skye
Can't ya see what is happenin' to me?

Calling out to you
In a Spydaman Skye
Don't ya feel what is happenin'?
I don't feel anything real.

Jaded by the past
Hopeful for a perfect chance.
Electric...cosmo-sonic
Blastin' ears...so euphonic.

Scattered in a purple-grey maze
Searchin' for fatherly praise.

Crying out to you
In a Spydaman Skye
Can't ya see what is happenin' to me?

Calling out to you
In a Spydaman Skye
Don't ya feel what is happenin'?
I don't feel anything real.

Crying out to you
In a Spydaman Skye
Can't ya see what is happenin' to me?

Calling out to you
In a Spydaman Skye
(Can you feel it?)

Crying out to you...
Can't ya see what is happenin' to me?

Calling out to you...
Don't ya feel what is happenin'?
World's are awakin'
Passion's are achin'
I don't feel anything...real.
